COVID-19
Your Safety at the Dentist
Existing patients have always known how important infection prevention measures are to our dental family! To prospective new patients – please be assured that you are in caring hands.
Our friendly administrative team is now behind Plexi-glass, and depending on physical spacing, might be wearing masks on any given day.
Our clinical team is wearing all the proper PPE (personal protective equipment). This can vary slightly by provider and procedure, but includes face shields, various respirator types and gowns. We frequently sanitize high touch surfaces. We’ve incorporated the standards of our regulatory bodies, Alberta Health Services and Health Canada.
We will ask you a list of pre-screening questions to help us assess if it’s the right time for you to come in.
For now, our door is locked and we require patients, deliveries and visitors to phone for entry. If you have a mask of your own please wear it to the clinic. When you are called in, you will be screened again, have your temperature take and will be required to sanitize your hands.
We always take safety seriously at Skuba Dental – just like you do with your family.
